The Pūhoi Community Orchard is located just inside the River Park, simply head left when you cross the bridge. Phillippa Beagley is leading this group, and to date nine fruit trees have been planted with a mixed guava and feijoa hedge. Heritage fruit trees came from Pūhoi Heritage Museum. The idea behind the orchard is to preserve as many local heritage fruit species aspp possible and make them accessible to our community.
